Alice Glass: was born in 1988 in Toronto, Ontario. She ran away at age 14 and changed her name to Viki Vale. She went to live with a bunch of punks and drug addicts, and started a punk noise band called Fetus Fatal. A week after she turned 15, at a bar where her band was playing, Ethan Kath approached her after her bands gig. He had said she was the "missing ingredient" to his music
After talking awhile he gave her his CDs with his instrumentals on them that she soon wrote lyrics to. Ethan and Alice became the band, Crystal Castles soon after that.

Ethan Kath: Ethan is the main producer and song writer of the band. In his past he has played many instruments in many different bands. He has played bass, drums, and guitar. He was even once in an 2-piece folk band. The folk band ended in a tragedy of the death of the lead singer and band mate of Ethan. Pino Placentile. The crystal castles Albums I and II were dedicated to Pino.
Ethan usually wears his hood during live shows that mostly cover or completely cover his whole face. This gives him this elusiveness look. He also has gone by many different names like "Ethan Death", making confusion over his real name. Is current name is based off of a nickname Alice had given him, which is "Ethan Catheter". She had named him after "the most uncomfortable thing known to human kind."

Not very popular, if you ask anyone if they know crystal castles the answer you would get is "crystal who? Never heard of 'em"
crystal castles is an experimental electronic band. Most of their songs people consider noise and it's sometimes hard to under stand them. But I love the band to death and I'm exremely greatful to my friend who showed them it to me.
The duo is known for their chaotic live shows and have been together since 2004. Pretty new band, but their music is amazing!
